GARDEN & FLOWERS EVENT
Jubækgaard by Trelde Næs
A wildly beautiful garden
with history
Experience the farmhouse gardenp flower beds, where Danish "wild" plants are mixed with perennials, herbs, berry bushes, fruit trees, rhododendrons, hosta, roses etc
Get inspiration on how to create more biodiversity in your existing beds and make more room for wildlife and insects in your garden. Get tips on which plants go well together according to soil, light and water and get started on creating diversity in your garden, on the balcony or terrace.
We also delve a little into the history of the place - from 1837 to the present day. What was it like when there was beekeeping and weaving, or when the farm was called Gryta Kofi?
The hilly plot is 4000 m2 and is a mixture of wilderness and colorful flower beds. The farm is undergoing renovation, but here it exudes coziness and genuine garden enjoyment. Here is an enormous diversity of birds and always a glorious buzz of insects and a rich wildlife. The surroundings are incredibly lovely with a view of the lake, forest, meadow and fjord.
We end the garden event with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink as well as some delicious snacks that can be enjoyed in the garden.
Alexandra is your garden-loving narrator and flower guide.
